Let me introduce myself. I’m Erin.

I’ve been building websites with WordPress for over six years now. It started as a favor for my brother, building a website for a business he was starting up. Back then, all I did was install a theme and a few plugins, but I fell in love with WordPress. I built myself a website to blog about my crafting hobby, and it wasn’t long until I outgrew premade themes and plugins, and started tinkering under the hood.
Eventually, my husband and I started up a small web design business, he was the people person, I was the coder who made it all work. We worked together for a couple of years. Then my husband moved on to something else.
I wasn’t ready to be done with WordPress, though, and wanted more. I taught myself everything I knew, piecing it together from online tutorials and courses. This meant there were massive gaps in my learning. I ended up going back to school and getting my degree in Web Development. While earning my degree I learned so much about how websites work, from coding databases by hand to creating skins for sites using just CSS.
Now, I love to take what I learned and combine it with what I know about WordPress. I love to take a two-dimensional idea of a website and make is something that really works. I also love finding ways that websites can help businesses streamline their processes in unexpected ways.
